Team Avatar: the calm before the storm

I don't like the background, but I didn't have the nerve to continue

So this drawing is basically about the dynamics of team avatar.
Mako cares about Asami, who has a hard time because of her father. This distracts him from Korra.
Bolin knows Korra doesn't return his affections, which in a way also keeps him away from her.
And Korra, as the Avatar, is the only one of the four who cannot turn her back on the oncoming war.....which isolates her from her friends, no matter how loyal they are.

I changed their attire - Bolin in his training clothes (because I like them ), Mako all dressed up (because that's who he becomes when he's with Asami) and Korra in the task force uniform (which I love!) - because as the Avatar she's always in danger of being used as a pawn.....
